“My latest sheep painting for sale. I painted her over a couple of days in the studio, building up the layers in the deep denim blue background by mixing green, mauve and blue on the canvas. I really enjoy the stormy nature of the sky in this piece.

Abigail's beautiful skewbald, tan and cream fleece is rugged, thick and luxuriant. Her colours glow against that dark backdrop.

The initial layers of the painting were completed with acrylic paint and brush. The final details were enhanced and picked out with acrylic pen. This also gives a nice depth and texture to the painting.” _ Sue
